Basic Terms and conditions


These Terms & Conditions apply to all casting role applications across all session categories. This agreement is separate from the official contract that will only be provided to selected applicants upon confirmation of their session.

By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:


  1. Your application and personal information provided will only be used for matters related to this casting application process, including communication, selection, and administrative purposes.
  2. You confirm that all information submitted, including your child’s age and eligibility according to the session requirements, is accurate and truthful.
  3. Any double or multiple applications submitted will be automatically rejected. (Acceptable: 1 Family per session)
  4. All themes, styling, props, creative direction, session flow, itinerary, and overall outcome of the session will be fully planned and decided by the photographers based on their own artistic vision and creativity. Applicants acknowledge and trust in the photographer’s expertise and understand that specific themes, setups, concepts, props, or outcomes cannot be selected or requested. Baby/ children safety and comfort will always remain our top priority throughout the session.
  5. Only two (2) accompanying adults are allowed during the session. Inclusion of accompanying adults in the photographs will be solely at the photographer’s discretion, as the main focus of the session will remain based on the selected session category and title.
  6. Any medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or health-related concerns regarding the baby or child must be declared before the session. Failure to disclose such information will result in the applicant acknowledging and accepting responsibility for any resulting issues during or after the session, and agreeing to waive responsibility from Msancollective and its representatives unless proven to be caused directly by photographer negligence.
  7. As these casting sessions are completely free, selected applicants will only be required to make a $80 retainer fee to secure their session slot. This retainer acts as a commitment and security fee upon confirmation of the booking. Any cancellation made after the $80 retainer fee has been paid, regardless of the reason from applicant, will result in the retainer being forfeited. This is not considered a penalty fee, but compensation for the time, planning, effort, and potential income reserved when securing the session slot, date and time exclusively for the applicant.
  8. Upon successful completion of the session, the $80 retainer fee will be refunded to the original payment method within approximately 3–5 working days, (excluding weekends & public holidays) after the shoot date.
  9. All photographs and videos captured by Msancollective during the session will remain the property of Msancollective and are protected under Singapore copyright laws. By participating, you grant Msancollective full rights to use the images and videos for portfolio purposes, marketing, advertisements, social media, websites, and other promotional or business-related uses at any time.
  10. Photographs delivered by Msancollective must not be used for the promotion, marketing, endorsement, or advertisement of other brands, businesses, or third-party services without prior written consent. Any unauthorised use of the images for personal business promotion, self-marketing, commercial purposes, or income-generating activities may result in appropriate action being taken by Msancollective, including removal requests and restriction from future collaborations or applications.
  11. Applicants must be flexible with the Photographer's scheduling and availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or rescheduling, Applicants may choose to proceed with the revised arrangements or forfeit the opportunity, which may then be offered to another Applicant.
  12. Should an Applicant decline the revised arrangements and choose to cancel the session entirely, 50% of the retainer paid will be refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Alternatively, at the Photographer's discretion, the retainer may be transferred to the next available session category (for example, from a Newborn Session to a Family Session) instead of receiving a partial refund. If the transferred session is successfully completed, the retainer will be refunded in full to the original payment method within 3–5 working days after the session date, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  13. By completing the questionnaire, you confirm that all responses are answered truthfully and to the best of your knowledge. If false or misleading information is discovered before, during or after the session, Msancollective reserves the right to cancel the session immediately and reject future applications.
  14. The selection, editing, and delivery of photographs will be solely at the discretion of Msancollective.
  15. Msancollective reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or remove any provision of its Terms and Conditions, policies, pricing, packages, promotions, or procedures at any time without prior notice. Any amendments shall apply prospectively and will not affect agreements that have already been signed and executed by both parties. Signed agreements shall remain governed by the terms and conditions in effect on the date of execution unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties.


What you will receive:


  • Edited images (approximately 5–20 images, depending on the session)
  • Online gallery access
  • Digital download of all edited images


Any additional items, services, or complimentary inclusions provided will be at the photographer’s discretion.
